GCSE Courses Taught at Falkland College
Falkland College has qualified teachers in English, Maths, Science and Humanities who are available to support students with their studies.
gcse english & Maths resits (age 16-19)
Students leaving FICS have the opportunity to resit GCSE English and Maths through taught lessons at Falkland College.

Free of charge for students who achieved a Grade 3 in their GCSE examination

Three hours of lessons per week per subject (two sessions of 1.5 hours)

Annual timetables provided
Eligibility:

Completed at least three years at FICS
-
Sat GCSEs in May/June of the year of enrolment

Achieved Grade 3 in the subject being resat
GCSE Courses for Students Aged 18+
Other GCSE courses will be advertised but may not be avaliable every year. Courses include, English Literature GCSE & GCE (A Level), Marine Science GCSE, Geology GCSE and Geography GCSE & GCE (A level). Please check this website, Falkland College Facebook page or Penguin News to find out what courses are being offered. Enrolment needs to be completed by June for GCSE examination in May/June the following year.
