ICDL - Certificate in IT User Skills

Formally known as ECDL, the ICDL Extra certification is an internationally recognised qualification. It offers key recognition of your computer literacy skills and is designed for novices or casual computer users and will raise you to a high computer literacy standard.

Course Content

The course is an online course where you have the freedom to study either at

home or at the College.

There are four mandatory units that must be completed to achieve certification:

• Word Processing Software

• Spreadsheets Software

• Presentation Software

• Improving Productivity Using IT

The duration of the course is 1 year, an exam plan is provided as guidance, however you may wish to sit the exams earlier.

How Much is the course?

The cost of the course, includes courseware, exams and one resit is:

ICDL L2 £210.00

If you are unsuccessful in any elements of the course the cost for any re-sits are:

£30 repeat exam

£25 diagnostic exams
