Battle Day ~ Public Holiday

Falkland College is closed.  On the 8th December 1914 the Germans were going to invade and destroy the naval base.  The battle could be observed from Stanley and saw the British victorious.  Sadly 1,871 Germans were killed along side 10 British sailors.
